Shaman Mariposa is a language translator, spirit interpreter, tango aficionado, co-creator, and co-founder of SoulTribe Sanctuary. He was born in the state of Michoacan Mexico, home to the Monarch butterfly biosphere reserve. He was born into a Mexican Navy military household, moving from state to state due to his father’s deployments. He received his undergraduate degree in Translation from the Baja California State University (UABC). He enjoys conversing in his native Spanish, as well as in English, Italian, French and Portuguese. He moved to San Diego, California in 2014 where he eventually became a U.S. citizen by naturalization. Shaman Mariposa received one of his most impactful spiritual activations during a sacred shamanic ceremony. He continued with instruction from an indigenous Mexican-Kumiai (Kumeyaay) elder and shaman in Baja California, Mexico. Shaman Mariposa is a spiritual guide for well-being. He opens connections to an energy stream that everyone has access to. It is an intelligent wisdom he describes as Vibration or Frequency. Mariposa’s primary message is that everyone has equal access to this larger “infinite” aspect of themselves. He writes, teaches and translates through this connection empowering others to find their personal energetic resonance.
